A case of controversy has come to light regarding the Maharashtra government's 'Chief Minister Ladli Behan' scheme. In fact, two women of a family have lodged a police complaint against a BJP MLA. They allege that their photo has been used in the advertising hoarding of the 'Ladli Behan' scheme without their permission.
What did the BJP MLA speak on the issue?
Regarding the issue, BJP MLA from Shivajinagar Siddharth Shirole said, "The advertisement of Ladli Behan Yojana was designed by an external agency." He said that if women are hurt due to the photo in the advertisement, then they apologize for it. Eknath Shinde government started the Ladli Behan Yojana last month. Under the scheme, eligible women get Rs 1,500 per month.
What do the women have to say?
A woman who filed a complaint against BJP MLA Siddharth Shirole said that there was a dispute in her family due to her photo being used in the advertisement without her knowledge. At the same time, people are asking her if she has received money in exchange for her photo being used in the advertisement. On the matter, MLA Shirole says that the advertisement was designed by an agency, which obtained the pictures from an online image depository and paid him the fee. While talking to the media, the BJP MLA said that but even then if these two women feel that their feelings have been hurt, then I apologize to them.
Who will get the benefit of the scheme?
Women between 21 and 65 years of age will get the benefit of Maharashtra government's Ladli Behan Yojana. Two women of a family can take advantage of this scheme. From the month of August, the money of this scheme will start coming into the accounts of women.
